Week of March 26th

New Releases for the week of March 26th:

Bieber Drops New Single

Girls around the world don’t have to wait for Justin Bieber’s new single any longer. “Boyfriend” was officially released Monday and is already number one on iTunes. For me, to hear him rap was a little surprising and I was not expecting the song to sound anything like it does. I liked the way he put the acoustic guitar in along with the whistle sounds during the chorus. The percussion beats sounded like your typical Hip-Hop/Rap song. Overall, the chorus is somewhat catchy, but I could do without the rapping.

Songz Drops New Single

Trey Songz released his new single “Heart Attack” on Monday and I was instantly impressed… I liked the percussion and it gave it a nice steady beat, almost like a heart beat. I think that it can surely gain more views over this week and become a popular hit soon enough. It seems that the beat and lyrics can easily be mixed with other songs, so I wouldn’t be surprised if artists and DJs started doing that. Overall, the song is definitely worth listening to and it will be on the charts in a matter of days.

Guetta Releases New Album

Clubs and dance parties are going crazy over Davis Guetta’s new album addition “Nothing But The Beat- The Electronic Album.” The songs featured on this album are mostly instrumental with occasional tracks with just a few repeating lyrics. With heavy beats and addicting melodies, Guetta captures audiences and provides catchy songs to get the party started and keep going all night long.
